The Bay Area Houston Economic Partnership, BAHEP, is a member-driven organization that provides the leadership to stimulate regional economic development and employment.

Utilizing a collaborative committee structure, BAHEP engages approximately 270 investor companies, business professionals, local governments, and educational institutions in southeast Texas to bring about prosperity and a high quality of life for the 740,000 people who live and work in the region.

Leadership is a quality that defines the Bay Area Houston Economic Partnership. BAHEP is trusted to demonstrate exceptional regional leadership in advocating for the interests of the region and the members, including advocacy and other political support for regional economic interests, innovative partnerships, and collaborations.   

Bay Area Houston Economic Partnership (BAHEP) special initiatives

Such interests and collaborations include a Storm Surge Suppression initiative, the Bay Area Houston Advanced Technology Consortium (BayTech), Citizens for Space Exploration, marketing sites at Ellington Airport, Pumps & Pipes, and BAHEP Cares!.
