This page outlines a quick review of the cities within Bay Area Houston. 2009 population estimates and 2014 projections are developed from the Texas Workforce Commission and are based on geography. “Total Property Tax Rates” do not include MUD taxes or special development district rates. “School District” lists the main school district inside each city limit. “Galveston County Tax Rate” includes road and flood. “Harris County Tax Rate” includes flood control, Port of Houston, hospital district, and educational department.
The cities are grouped into the following sets for ease of viewing.
