Economic Development News

Bay Area Houston Economic Partnership is recognized for its proven leadership in regional economic development. Members of its staff are well informed in those matters that affect the people and businesses of southeast Texas and beyond.

BAHEP believes that an informed membership is an engaged membership. Therefore, the organization strives to keep its members informed through its two newsletters, Business Briefs and Business Development Update, as well as through presentations.

Business Briefs
This newsletter, published four times each year, is designed to be a snapshot of the activities in which BAHEP has been involved to stimulate regional economic development and employment. The newsletter’s sections include reports on Business Assistance Programs; Marketing; Advertising, Public Relations & Media Communications; Preserve NASA Funding Levels; Bay Area Houston Advanced Technology Consortium (BayTech), Space Alliance Technology Outreach Program (SATOP); and Membership.

Business Development Update
The e-newsletter, Business Development Update, produced by BAHEP four times a year, is available online and distributed to more than 2,500 commercial brokers, developers, and site consultants. The newsletter includes reports on Commercial / Office / Industrial Development; Retail / Hospitality Development; Residential Development; and Infrastructure News and Everything Else!

BAHEP’s meetings that cover Bay Area Houston’s "Hot Projects” are always well attended by representatives of member cities and companies who want to know about the latest developments in Bay Area Houston.
