Learn about the Bay Area Houston Advanced Technology Consortium, or BayTech, through this informative May 2013 presentation. BayTech is a 501(c)(3) technology consortium that brings together academia, industry, NASA Johnson Space Center, and the State of Texas. BayTech pursues federal and private research and technology development funding that will create jobs, retain the work force and knowledge base, generate new revenue streams, and maximize future opportunities for Texas and the greater Houston region.
This presentation accompanied a speech given by Dr. Ellen Ochoa, director, NASA Johnson Space Center, to members of Bay Area Houston Economic Partnership during the organization's April 17, 2013, General Membership Meeting. It addresses Human Space Exploration Goals, the International Space Station, the Multi-Purpose Crew Vehicle Orion, Asteroid Strategy, the JSC Vision and Mission, and Communication & Relationship Building.


This presentation was given on April 4, 2013, to the Houston Chemical Association by Bob Mitchell, president of Bay Area Houston Economic Partnership. It discusses: 1) Who is Bay Area Houston Economic Partnership?  2) NASA / JSC Update,  3) Ellington Airport / Space Port,  4) BayTech,  5) Storm Surge Suppression, and  6) Area Development.


This presentation was given to representatives of the Pasadena Independent School District on September 28, 2012, by Bob Mitchell, president of the Bay Area Houston Economic Partnership.
